Mitsubishi FUSO Truck & Bus Corporation (Japanese: 三菱ふそうトラック・バス株式会社, Hepburn: Mitsubishi Fusō Torakku・Basu Kabushiki gaisha) is a truck and bus manufacturer headquartered in Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan. Currently, Germany-based Daimler Truck owns 89.29% of Mitsubishi FUSO Truck & Bus Corporation.
Mitsubishi FUSO is derived from the ancient Chinese term fusang (扶桑), which refers to a sacred tree said to grow where the sun rises in the east, and is used to refer to Japan itself. The Mitsubishi FUSO tree is actually a hibiscus.

The MITSUBISHI FUSO plant in Tramagal (Portugal) shortens production times and increases flexibility. INTRODUCING THE COOPERATION BETWEEN THACO – MITSUBISHI FUSO
In December 2017, THACO signed a cooperation agreement to exclusively manufacture, assemble and distribute Mitsubishi FUSO brand trucks and buses in the Vietnamese market.
Mitsubishi FUSO Truck products are manufactured and assembled at THACO TRUCK factory, producing a full line-up of trucks from light trucks, medium trucks and heavy trucks with existing products: Mitsubishi FUSO Canter with payload from 1.99 tons to 4.6 tons, Mitsubishi FUSO FA with payload 6.45 & 6.7 tons, Mitsubishi FUSO FI with payload 8.2 & 8.3 tons, Mitsubishi FUSO FJ with payload 14.2 tons.
In June 2021, THACO introduced the Mitsubishi FUSO Canter TF light truck line-up (8th generation).
